Hoboken is a great place to live for those who work in New York City. While it’s possible to drive into the city, the traffic and parking can be a nightmare. Taking the bus or train is a much better option and there are a few different ways to do it.
The NJ Transit bus is the most direct way to get from Hoboken to NYC. It takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic, and drops you off right in the heart of Manhattan. The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded during rush hour.
If you don’t mind a little walking, you can take the PATH train from Hoboken to World Trade Center. The ride takes about 20 minutes and from there you can either walk or take the subway to your final destination.
If you want to avoid the city altogether, you can take the ferry from Hoboken to Manhattan. The ride is short and sweet, taking just 10 minutes, and you get some great views of the NYC skyline. Plus, there’s nothing quite like arriving to work by boat!
